Common Errors
When an "IV Limit Error" occurs this could be due to:
- Air bubbles in the bottom of any of the wells
- Insufficient fluid level(s) in well(s)
- Improper vortexing
Erratic readings are most likely the result of:
- Improperly pressurized gel-dye
- Incorrect pipetting technique - dispense at the bottom of the well
A poor chip performance error message could be the result of:
- Well(s) liquid level is too low or one or more wells are empty
- Chip not properly primed or air bubbles are present
- Clogged priming station or wrong settings of priming station
- Chip preparation with cold reagents/chips
When any of these errors are received, prepare a new chip following the correct assay guide.
